Liberians celebrating their country’s first peaceful, democratic transition of power in 47 years.

It was a moment Weah had been anticipating for more than a decade: he first ran for president in 2005, but lost to Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, a former World Bank executive who became Africa’s first female head of state. In 2011 he ran as Winston Tubman’s vice-presidential candidate but they again lost out to Sirleaf.

George Weah's full name is George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah, quite the mouthful.

George Weah from international football player to now the president of Liberia.

From George Weah's birthday (10/1/17) to the date of his election as the President of Liberia (1/22/18) is exactly 3 months and 22 days, like 322.

322 is the reflection of 223

Looks like the 3rd time was the charm.. Definitely selected, NOT elected.

*There seems to be some discrepancy when it comes to which presidential term this is.
In the second picture (from the top), if you look carefully, you will see a banner that reads "24th President of Liberia." Wikipedia however reads, "25th President." 24th would in most probability be the most accurate. Wikipedia is known to provide not entirely accurate information, when it comes to the sensitive details of world, political figures, families etc.
