It takes only a few seconds to click a button and open a window on a computer. But for a busy doctor sifting through patient records, those clicks can add up to extra hours spent at a computer each day completing tedious but necessary tasks.

I keep seeing this "marketing manuever" if you will for the lack of a better phrase, or perhaps psychological selling, in the form of a soft Hegelian dialectic. (catalyze a problem, stir up a reaction, conveniently provide a solution, on the desired terms of course). As of late, it seems to be run under the guise of convenience, (forgot password? no problem! just scan your retina and/or fingerprint! don't remember important information? no problem! just verbalize outloud desired information and it will be forever stored... at a 1.5 million square feet (90,000–140,000 m2) data center with 100,000 square feet (9,000 m2) of data center space in Utah at a cost of $1.5 billion.

Remember that although technology can be absolutely convenient and wonderful, it is a double-edged sword.
