68 110 133 143| Anaheim police Chief Raul Quezada steps down in wake of no-confidence vote from officers, October 23, 2017

Julian Harvey is the acting Deputy Chief now.

 Raul Quezada is currently 48 years old.

Tom Tait is the mayor of Anaheim, California.

337 is the 68th prime number

John Girardi is the lawyer for Raul Quezada.

October 23 leaves 70 days left in the year.

Seventy = 110

Raul Quezada was the first Latino to hold the agency’s top post, he became chief in the wake of riots and civil unrest that followed a series of fatal shootings by police in 2012.

The union accused Quezada of “disregarding officer safety” by ordering his officers to remove “life-saving equipment” from their belts “because of its unappealing appearance.”

Union officials also said there has been a failure to hold some managers accountable and for “mishandling major incidents” such as a KKK rally that turned violent last year. Quezada is also accused of “demonstrating favoritism” by doling out choice assignments to officers without going through “his own selection process.”

87% of the Police Union show a disapproval and no confidence in Chief Quezada.

A lot of incidents from mishandling of a KKK rally to bias selection based process for certain officers regarding prestigious assignments to other errors have shown a mishandling of leadership given his position.

Among these incidents, comes on top another regarding his own tenure with the department.

Written by a police captain to the city manager, city attorney and human resources director, a memo shows that Quezada and Cahill allegedly had fewer vacation days than they actually took, meaning Quezada could have been paid more than $24,000 and Cahill could have been paid $38,000 for time they did not work.

"The memo alleges Quezada took 27 days off scheduled work, 16 marked vacation from September 2015 to September 2016. The captain cites a payroll report which shows the chief only marked two vacation days and eight sick days.      In Cahill’s case, the memo alleges he took 46 days off work, including five sick days in a row. The report shows he used four vacation days and zero sick days."

I'm sure there are politics involved with this along with a slew of other details that are not known to the public.

Corruption everywhere, even amongst our own police departments whose oaths are to serve and protect the public.
