Women find men more attractive once they find out he is desired by others.

Published in the journal Scientific Reports, researchers from the Universities of St Andrews, Durham and Exeter believe that a man is given an “attractiveness boost” when he is desired by other women. This is because he is perceived to be more kind, faithful and a better father.

The findings are also supported by an earlier study from Oklahoma State University which found that 90 per cent of single women were interested in a man they believed was taken, while a mere 59 per cent wanted him when told he was single.

Sadly, I can attest that being viewed as more desirable when with other women is actually a thing. Something about women subtly vouching for other women whether a significant other is viable relationship wise.. Can you imagine if it was the other way around? Men vouching for women? Ha! Imagine a guy seeking a sign of validation from other guys who are in relationship with other girls. No.. it doesn't really work like that.

Although not to toot my own horn but for me, seems as though it doesn't really matter whether if I'm with one or not. Attention is nice, although it's not for everybody though. Me personally, I tend to run low profile but even then. Some people draw more attention than desired. Some like the attention more than others. I'll leave it at that.

Little cheat sheet if you will: Dating/relationships are not my forte' but in my personal experience, women need 'Trust' to be able to rely upon their man / significant other due to vulnerabilities and potential deceit / harm whereas for men, we need to know that our significant other will stay 'Loyal' to us no matter what, to be supportive despite the circumstances. Ideally, all mentioned qualities would be preferred for both parties. Doesn't always happen that way though. Be positive! Enthusiasm along with comedic relief are contagious and can work wonders!
