A head-on crash between two vehicles Monday afternoon on Harbor Boulevard left one driver dead, Fullerton police said.
Police responded to the incident at 3:17 p.m. in the 3700 block of Harbor. For a time the crash closed the street in both directions between Imperial Highway and Las Palmas Drive.

The Fullerton Police Department in a news release said the driver of a 1996 GMC Jimmy was heading northbound when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into southbound traffic and hit a 2018 Toyota Tacoma.
The
Jimmy driver, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tacoma
driver was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries,
police said.
The
driver who was killed was not immediately identified. The investigation
was continuing and it wasn’t immediately known if alcohol or drugs
played a role in the crash, police said.
One
