The city of Menifee early Sunday, May 20 announced that Mayor Neil Winter had unexpectedly died late Saturday, May 19.
“The City of Menifee is mourning the passing of beloved, and respected Honorable Mayor Neil Winter, 65,” the city said in a news release.
In a tweet, Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez said that emergency personnel summoned to Winter’s home found him in full arrest. She offered prayers to the family.
