290 353 830 | 4 LSU students hit in crash on campus: Victims expected to survive; driver cited, August 24, 2018

Four students walking on LSU's campus were hospitalized Friday morning after they were hit by a vehicle during a crash, said university spokesperson Ernie Ballard III.

All four students are expected to survive, Ballard said Friday afternoon.

353 is the 71st prime number

The force of a two-vehicle crash caused one of the vehicles to hit pedestrians standing on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Skip Bertman Drive, Ballard said. That intersection is just west of Tiger Stadium.

He said one of the drivers, 22-year-old Jodi Simone Reed, of Houston, was issued a citation for careless operation and failure to yield. Ballard said all parties involved in the wreck were LSU students.

Initially, East Baton Rouge EMS spokesman Mike Chustz said five people were injured in the crash, though only four went to the hospital.
