Duncan Hicks said his life has "changed dramatically" since going public two weeks ago with his video of San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Deputy Michael Bradbury threatening to arrest him for no cause."

The officer in question, who revealed his real personality and his behavior as shown how he handled the situation through video footage, displays a gross ignorance for not only the civilian seeking assistance but also for the city protocols and procedures. Also let's not forget the clear and obvious disregard for not only the civilian but doubling down by threatening jail time, fabricating false accusations on the spot all the while displaying a deadly weapon.

We, the tax payers, pay for this man's salary. This man regulates the San Bernardino County.
This individual exhibited unreasonable and irrational behavior which is not only a detriment to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department but a threat to the community as well.
That female secretary deserves similar reprimand as well (notice the woman was NOT identified)

I like the part where it says "Victorville Sgt. Brian Roper later contacted him and apologized after Victorville Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez forwarded Hicks' video from the Daily Press to the Sheriff's Department."

The actual official that was involved is no where to be found.
Instead a Sergent
from the Sheriff's Department, who in all probability has nothing to do with the actual incident, contacts Duncan Hicks and apologizes for the incident only after the fact that the video footage was forwarded to the Sheriff's department by a spokeswoman from the Victorville station.

Justice is apparently a self-serve customer service experience in the
beautiful high desert of Southern California!
Read the last paragraph above for the "customer service" mention.

I would like to see the raw unedited footage on that encounter.
It's absolutely incredible that we as a society have to put up with this sort of behavior, especially when it comes to sensitive legal matters. This official probably thinks he's in the right and that this civilian is wrong.
Unfortunately, I doubt any sort of significant legal reprimand will occur for either the deputy or receptionist.
