Officially announced on September 3, 2017, a signed moratorium recommendation, by more than 180 scientists and doctors from 35 different countries, on the roll-out of 5G, for telecommunication until potential hazards for human health and the environment have been fully investigated by scientists independent from industry.

5G will substantially increase exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) on top of the 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, etc. for telecommunications already in place.

RF-EMF has been proven to be harmful for humans and the environment. 5G leads to massive increase of mandatory exposure to wireless radiation.

The current ICNIRP ”safety guidelines” are obsolete. 

All proofs of harm mentioned above arise although the radiation is below the ICNIRP "safety guidelines".

Therefore new safety standards are necessary.

The reason for the misleading guidelines is that “conflict of interest of ICNIRP members due to their relationships with telecommunications or electric companies undermine the impartiality that should govern the regulation of Public Exposure Standards for non-ionizing radiation... to evaluate cancer risks it is necessary to include scientists with competence in medicine,  especially oncology.”

As the spread of the coronavirus is proving difficult to contain, so too is the misinformation surrounding it.

One of the most recent, baseless conspiracy theories surrounding the virus is that 5G networks -- the next generation of wireless technology that's steadily being rolled out around the world -- are fueling the global coronavirus pandemic. They are not.

Unfounded claims about a supposed link between 5G and Covid-19 began circulating on the fringes of the internet, where New Agers and QAnon followers perpetuated the hoax that global elites were using 5G to spread the virus. Unsophisticated algorithms amplified those voices and ushered unsubstantiated theories into the mainstream.

Research shows that radiofrequency (RF) waves given off by cell phones do not have enough energy to damage DNA directly or heat body tissues -- their energy levels are lower even than technologies such as microwave ovens and televisions. What's more, 5G signals are actually worse at penetrating objects than 4G signals, which is why 5G networks require many more, smaller cell sites built close together.

"The theory that 5G might compromise the immune system and thus enable people to get sick from corona is based on nothing," Eric van Rongen, chairman of ICNIRP, wrote in an email to CNN.

"There are no indications from scientific studies that 5G (or any other G) affects the immune system. If that would be the case, we would have seen effects on the scale and severity of infectious diseases already decades ago. And we don't."

In its most recent guidelines, INCIRP looked at all the possible adverse health effects that could occur from exposure to RF electromagnetic fields, van Rongen wrote. The only proven effect is heating of parts of the body, but the exposure from mobile devices is so low that this wouldn't happen through cell phone use.

Conspiracy theories claiming 5G technology helps transmit coronavirus have been condemned by the scientific community.

Many of those sharing the post are pushing a conspiracy theory falsely claiming that 5G - which is used in mobile phone networks and relies on signals carried by radio waves - is somehow responsible for coronavirus.

They appear to fall broadly in to two camps:

-  One claims 5G can suppress the immune system, thus making people more susceptible to catching the virus.

 -  The other suggests the virus can somehow be transmitted through the use of 5G technology.

Both these notions are "complete rubbish," says Dr Simon Clarke, associate professor in cellular microbiology at the University of Reading.

"The idea that 5G lowers your immune system doesn't stand up to scrutiny," Dr Clarke says.

"Your immune system can be dipped by all sorts of thing - by being tired one day, or not having a good diet. Those fluctuations aren't huge but can make you more susceptible to catching viruses."

"Radio waves can disrupt your physiology as they heat you up, meaning your immune system can't function. But [the energy levels from] 5G radio waves are tiny and they are nowhere near strong enough to affect the immune system. There have been lots of studies on this."

 The radio waves involved in 5G and other mobile phone technology sit on the low frequency end of the electromagnetic spectrum. Less powerful than visible light, they are not strong enough to damage cells - unlike radiation at the higher frequency end of the spectrum which includes the sun's rays and medical x-rays.

Remember that the latest technology unveiled to the public, 5G which is nothing more than 5th generation, uses beam-forming technology.

Beam-forming technology sends signals out where the signal needs to go to then directs the signal there through directional antennas.

It ranges anywhere roughly from 20 gigahertz to up to 100 gigahertz.

i.e. high band 5g, this is where the danger really lies with the microwave

High band 5G is extremely directional. It is perfectly applicable for beam forming technology.

Trade body Mobile UK has said false rumours and theories linking 5G and coronavirus were "concerning," while the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has reiterated there is "absolutely no credible evidence for the link".


Of course of all the publications out there, the The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), arguably the beginning place of propaganda, does not disappoint. A lot of truths, half-truths and a whole lot of disinformation / misinformation whose main subject is that of a claim that holds validity when it comes to EMFs not having a biological effect on a living cellular organism.
